Donut Light and easy

Donut Light and Easy : Fried/baked/frozen

It was nice to be treated to fresh donut ,baked or fried with a cup of lovely tea ( of course  taste better with coffee :D ).If you are after a lighter than your premium donut, (can be bake or fry ),so easy to make, you will love this donut,( they will dissappear before your eyes..at least in my kitchen :D).Did I mention they freeze well too?

I wasn't planning to make donut today but I my kids love donut especially this Quick and super easy donut. Aliyah loves to whip up this easy peasy donut, try it for your self. No need to wait for donut to double in size, you can fry them right away. They freeze well too, just fry half cooked, them keep them in sealed container/bag. Great for treats on the go. Quick Donut / Donut SEMPOI
Ingredients :
1/2 kg plain flour
3 tbsp margerine/crisco/olive spread (which ever you prefer)
3 tbsp condense milk
1 pack instant yeast  11gm(eg  mauripan  etc)
1 cup warm water
1/2 tbsp sugar
Quick  as a wincky donut

scatter yeast o the surface of warm water, then gently add in sugar and stir, then leave for few minutes for fermentation (you will see bubbles formed)

leave this mixture until foarm/bubbles  forrmed
In a mixing bowl ,mix flour, fat(butter/margerine/olive spread/crisco),condense milk until resemble of bread crumb(serbuk roti)
now mixture looks like bread crumb
add in yeast solution/mixture to the bread crumb, continue mix n knead until you get a smooth ball ( i kneaded for 4 minutes using Kitchen aid  to get a smooth ball ( I use J hook  for mixing and kneading)
knead for a few minutes until you get a smooth ball of dough, ready to rolled out and shape for donut/or use a donut cutter
meet our sweet chef, isn't she is having fun, shaping the donut?
roll out the dough on floured surface, cut with a donut cutter, i bought it very cheap, rm 1.00
ready to fry/bake. I've tried both straight fry the donut without waiting for it to double in size,to my surprise, the donuts is still up to our expectation, soft and yummy. So up to you, want to wait for it to double the size before frying/baking or have express donut.
I fry these donut right after cutting/shape  without waiting the double in size, the dout keep expending the size while being frying .
my favourite are the donut balls( the middle left over bits )
this recipe will give you aroud nearly 50 medium size donuts, so I fry half cook  the left over, cool them before packed nicely in a few sealed container for another donut treat.
